3 Point Adventures

HIKE THE CLIFFS OF MARTHA'S VINEYARD

Enjoy and be dazzled by the cliffs of Martha’s Vineyard, north and south.  Hike or moped out to their lofty viewpoints and enjoy a lunch from high above as the wind tousles your hair.  Marvel at the sou’west currents as they surge past you and watch osprey hover above them and dive-bomb for their lunch as you enjoy yours.

+ Moped Rental Fees

Adventure & Adrenaline at a Private Pond

Looking for a fun group of activities on a picture perfect pond?  Whether it’s kayaking or paddleboarding, sailing or waterskiing, wakeboarding or tubing - it’s all there and ready to go.  A full day with exhaustion, guaranteed!

Cape Cod's "Galapagos Islands"

Ocean boat ride to one of two Bahamian-style idyllic islands, one containing free-roaming long horn steer and the other a rookery, plus Martha's Vineyard Lake Tashmoo.  Make sure to bring lunch and your bathing suit.  Diving masks and snorkels are on us!

Mopeds on Martha's Vineyard

Many people rent mopeds on the Vineyard and see little more than what’s visible from the road.  But there are little known dirt paths guarded by scrub pines that trickle down to hidden inlets and beachheads that are pristine in every sense. The ocean invites you in for a swim, the views make your camera jealous, and you'll see the American coast the same way Columbus saw it.

+ Moped Rental Fees

2 Point Adventures

Journey along the Cape Coast

One town has the most coastline, but another has the best.  See if you can guess which one.  Together we trace its shoreline while visiting conservation areas, beaches, peninsulas and marshlands as we watch turn of the century homes fly past.  See if you can figure out the name of its founding fathers, the one that seems to be as ubiquitous as its seashells.

A boat ride to remember

Cruise Cape Cod's most breathtaking bay.  See cliffside mansions and shifting barrier islands, an explosion of seals barking the day away, the inner workings of a fish processing plant, and maybe even a Great White as you leave the safety of the bay and head to a neighboring harbor and pond. Explore that harbor, then visit a dreamy pond next door.  A trip not for the faint of heart!

+ Boat Fare

A Jetty to Land's End

At the right tide, there’s a jetty, and it’s a long one, but you can maneuver its unevenness and cross it, and arrive at a beach too far, where the land runs out, where seals watch you as much as you watch them, where you skim rocks in the surf and where, ultimately, a water taxi will take you back home.

+ Water Taxi Fare

An Amazing Audubon Sanctuary

Best damn Audubon sanctuary on the Cape.  So much eye candy that you’ll leave with your aching cavity filled.  Beauty is all around you, a bridge too far, a meadow too lush, a marsh exploding with wildlife, and a boardwalk submerged just below the tidal flats.  Don’t miss it.

2 or 1 Point Adventures

DUNE DISCOVERY

Dunes rolling in either direction for as long as the eye can see, Mid-Cape or End-Cape, they’re there, and you can jump from one to the next floating effortlessly in this moonscape of hills, one soft pillow to another.  Let the sand caress your feet, slow your gait, mellow your mind, as you trudge into windswept Nirvana.

Mid-Cape (2 points + Water Taxi Fare) or End-Cape (1 point)

INCREDIBLE VISTA VIEWS FROM HIDDEN BEACHES

Two beaches or just one, if you like, isolated, pristine, with rock outcroppings and arthritic blackened tree limbs, where no one goes and no one knows, where the best vistas on Cape Cod roll out in front of you, ready for the taking.  Bring your suit or your camera, either way you’ll be totally satisfied.

2 Beaches (2 points) or 1 Beach (1 point)

1 Point Adventures

Sunset at the Boardwalk

The best boardwalk ever.  The subject of too many photos and paintings.  See it at sunset.   Need I say more?

Lucky Horseshoe Crabs

At the perfect time, at the perfect temperature, in the perfect shallows of a perfect shoreline, comes the mating season of the Cape Cod horseshoe crab.  Stand in it, amongst hundreds of these gentle, pre-historic creatures and feel them lap over your unprotected feet as they scurry about trying to be the perfect mate.

Bull Frog Orchestra

You can hear the baritone croaking well before you arrive at the Cape’s best bull frog pond.  With a net in hand, your children will feel like they can conquer the world as the excitement begins to build from the moment they get on the trailhead.  And it’s standing room only for the frogs, as there’s not a lily pad in the place unoccupied.

A Ship Builder to be Seen

Here's the problem with America.  We manufacture nothing, ship everything overseas to be done.  Computers, iphones, cars, planes, trains and boats.  But what if there were a boatwright who gets it right every day, right here on Cape Cod, someone who bends the wood, designs the hull, lets it flow till it rises to the gunwales and transom.  Well, he’s here…

E.S.Cape Tours & Adventures was started by Ethan Schaff, a long-time Cape Cod resident and lawyer of 30 years. An adventurer at heart, Ethan has led a life that is anything but mundane - we're talking diving with sharks, hiking with gorillas, and raising a son! Now he wants to share the adventure with you. Beware, his charisma and energy are contagious, so you will likely leave wanting more.

Hear what some of our guests have to say!

Ethan was a great host! We saw some incredible parts of the Cape that we never realized existed and I’ve been coming here since I was a kid. Highly recommend E.S.Cape Tours!

My fiancé and I found out about EScape Tours through a family friend. We had a great time on the Martha’s Vineyard experience. Ethan was a lot of fun to hang out with!
